Quick sample making and monitoring can be done with our crimp cross-section analysis system. All are on a small desk!

● Resin Hardening is no longer needed. Conventional samples making takes several hours from resin hardening ⇒ cutting ⇒ rough grinding ⇒ fine grinding.
CS03 does it all in 5 minutes!

● A unique universal holder is designed to hold a wide rage of crimp size. Sample is easily clamped deformation and wire coming out. Even untrauned personnel can procedure it. Applicable wire size is for AWG5～AWG26.
* Holder for fine cables (AWG26-36) is optional.
* Holder for resin hardened samples is optional.

● Accurate optics and special software. Image is enlarged from 45 x to 260 x with low distortion. The PC software HM03 calculates Crimp height, Crimp width, Crimp compression ratio, Stand count, Crimp radii and Angles etc. The dimensional measurement in the zoomed image is accurate as 1 to 2 μm. All data is exported to "Standard Cross Section Excel file" .

● Fine cutting and grinding : Setting the sample piece to the clamp holder is designed for one touch operation. You push the start button. The clamp holder automatically moves toward the high-speed fine cutter and moves back to the start point. Then hold the handle and feed it toward the disc type paper grinder. This process is manual because grinding touch is very delcate depending on material hardness and size. Total time is 2 to 3 minutes only.

● Safety guard : Rotating parts are all covered with transparent plastic covers for safety. Motors do not turn if the cover is open.

● Sample clampers : Both standard clamper and thin wire clamper are standard accessory. Various shapes can be easily accommodated by one touch. For example, the V shaped device is for standard wires and knurled surface is for thin wires.
Applicable wire sizes are ;
　Standard clamper : AWG26 to AWG12
　Thin wire clamper : AWG36 to AWG26

● Grinding with water makes it easier to get the insulation cut sample.

● Uses 6x stage zoom lens (optical zoom ratio is 0.75x to 4.5x). Optical USB camera (1.3 mega pixels) captures images and they are shown on PC as 45x to 260x sizes. It is very suitable even for precise monitoring of AWG30 and foner sanple.
Also the white LED unit with the controller is attached to the lens bottom. The microscope easily folds into the case.

Image analysis PC software CS03-HM / CS03-HM-USB. User friendly programing to measure C/H, C/W, areas and angles etc. Data is exploted Excel in a report format.

● You can choose among the three languages: English, Cinese, or Japanese version.

● Easy to Operate with Mouse only.

● Outer boundaries of strands are traced automatically to calculate the area quickly.

● All data, comments and images can be exported to Excel.

● This soft ware is compatible with the following OS: Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
